# How to add modules to PHP on cPanel

You may need to add PHP modules depending on what your website requires.

This article will teach you how to add PHP modules on cPanel!

### How to add modules to PHP on cPanel

1. Login to the cPanel dashboard. You are able to log in using the button on the web hosting package.

2. Once logged in, Head down over to the “Software” category and select “PHP PEAR Packages”.

3. Under the “Find a PHP Extensions and Applications Package” tab, Search for the extension or view all available modules.

In this example, We will install HTML_AJAX

4. Once you have found the extension, click “Install”.
