# How To Authenticate Satisfactory Server

## Setting Admin Password 

To authenticate a Satisfactory server: 

* Open Satisfactory 

* In the main menu, navigate to the **Server Manager**, and choose your session name

* Head over to the **Server Settings** tab

* Find the **Admin Password** line, and click on **Change Password**

* Setup the new administrator password

* Click on **Apply**

## Setting Player Password Protection

* Open Satisfactory 

* In the main menu, click on the **Server Manager**, and choose your server name

* Head over to the **Server Settings** tab

* Find the **Player Password Protection** line, and click on **Change Password**

* Set the desired password

* Click on **Apply**
