# How to Ban/Unban Players from your Soulmask Server

To ban/unban a player on your Soulmask server, you must first know their Steam ID. If you are unsure of the player's Steam ID, use this website https://steamid.io/ to find it.
Once you have the player's Steam ID, you can permanently ban them using a specific command.

1. Connect to your Soulmask server as an admin.
2. Press the tilde key (`) twice to open the in-game console.
3. In the in-game console, enter the command `gm EnableServerPermissionList 1 1` to enable ban lists on your server.
4. To ban the player, enter the command `gm AddServerPermissionList 1 <Steam ID>`, replacing `<Steam ID>` with the player's actual Steam ID or enter `gm RemoveServerPermissionList 1 <Steam ID>` to unban the player.
