# How to change the OS of a VPS

### How to change the OS of a VPS

||| Warning: This will delete all of the files that are currently on the server!

1. Select the server to which you want to change the OS and click on Manage.

2. Click on the Rebuild button next to the Power Off button.

3. Fill out the necessary text fields and select the OS that you would like to run on.

4. After selecting the desired OS, click on the Build button on the bottom area of the page, and it will rebuild the VPS and install the OS that you selected.
