# How to change the player limit in your ETS2/ATS server

You may want to change the player limit if you do not want many people to join your convoy. This article will teach you how to change the player limit in your ETS2/ATS server!

### Setting the player limit

1. Head over to the "Startup" tab.

2. Find the "Max Players" box. By default, this is set to `8`.

3. In this case, we will set our max player limit to 4. 

|| Note: The maximum player count allowed is **8**!

4. Restart the server. It should now change the player limit in-game.
