# How to change the server name and description of your v-Rising server

Before making changes to the name and description of your V-Rising server, make sure to stop your server.

1. Navigate to the Startup tab.

2. Locate Server Name and Server Description and change the values to your preference.

Once done, simply restart your server and verify that the changes have been applied.
