# How to fix incorrect players showing on the list

This article explains why you might see wrong players show up on your server's player list.

Some games may choose to enable player list censoring by default, which replaces actual player names with randomly generated ones.
If you'd like to disable this, follow these steps:

1. Head to the Startup tab:

2. Find and change this startup parameter:

3. Restart your server for changes to take effect.
