This is usually set to around 4GB. Some mod packs require more RAM and it is actually recommended to up the RAM for the modpack as it will provide you with a better experience. In this case, we will be choosing a Forge 1.19 profile. This is usually located at the start of the argument list. By default, the max RAM usage is set to 2 GB. In this example, we will set the max RAM usage to 8GB. Select the modpack that you would like to increase the RAM of. Now, use the slider to select the amount of RAM you want to be allocated to this profile. In this case, we will be allocating 8GB of RAM. To do this, we will set the slider to `8192`. To calculate the value you require, simply do `1024 * amount of RAM`. Under the "Memory" dropdown, select the amount of RAM you would like to allocate. It automatically saves your preference. ### FTB Launcher To increase RAM on FTB Launcher: 1. On the modpack of your choice, click the 3 dots. In this case, we will be allocating 8GB of RAM. It automatically saves your preference. ### TLauncher To increase RAM on TLauncher: 1. By default, this is set to 3000MB. In this case, we will be allocating 8GB of RAM. To do this, we will set the slider to `8192`. To calculate the value you require, simply do `1024 * amount of RAM`. Set the "Maximum memory allocation" to the amount of RAM you would like to allocate. In this case, we will be allocating 8GB of RAM. To do this, we will set the input box to `8192`. To calculate the value you require, simply do `1024 * amount of RAM`.
