How to install a past release of Forge in Minecraft 1.17+
When facing problems regarding mods or modpacks asking for previous versions of forge running on the current version of Minecraft they are working on, it is helpful to change the forge version easily. That can be done via our panel for Minecraft Servers version 1.17+.
This guide will detail how to do it.
Startup Command Change
Please head over to the Startup page
Then search for the box displaying Forge Version (1.17+)
In order to properly format the needed forge version, please enter the information as displayed below the enter text line, adding forge- at the beginning, for example: forge-1.18.1-39.0.9 will install forge 1.18.1 version 39.0.9
Warning: Installing forge versions this way will override changes done under the versions tab, if you wish to go back to the latest version of forge, or use another server software like Paper or Purpur, please leave this line blank again.
