# How to Install and Configure SkinsRestorer

What is SkinsRestorer? Well, SkinsRestorer is a plugin that allows Offline (Cracked) servers to have user skins back in the game. Usually, offline servers are not able to have skins as it does not communicate with Mojang servers and therefore are not able to get the skin of the player. SkinsRestorer changes that.

### How to configure SkinsRestorer

There isn't much configuration to be done as it comes ready and working out of the box however there are some settings that you may want to edit or change.

If you do not want users to change their skin with the built-in command, set `skinWithoutPerm` to false

If you would like to apply a default skin, set `Enabled` to `true` underneath the `DefaultSkins` section in the config file.
