# How To Join A Server In Terraria

Jumping into a Terraria server brings the game to life in a whole new way. Instead of going solo, you can collaborate with friends, explore massive custom worlds, or take on challenging bosses with a full team. Multiplayer adds energy and unpredictability that single-player just can't match. It’s the perfect setup for anyone looking to build, fight, and discover alongside others.

In this guide, we'll show you how to join a server in Terraria and use your server's IP address to join.

## How To Find The IP Address Of Terraria Server

* Connect to your [Apollo panel](https://control.sparkedhost.us/)

* On the top left, under your server's name, you will be able to see your server's IP address

## Joining A Server In Terraria

To join a Terraria server, follow the steps below: 

* Open Terraria

* On the main menu screen, select **Multiplayer**

* Choose the **Join via IP** option

* Now, click on **New**

* Set the desired character and name, then click on **Create**

* Now, make sure the server is running, enter your server's IP address and port number to join your dedicated server, and start hosting and playing Terraria
