# How To Make Private Server In DayZ

## Steps To Make Your DayZ Server Private

To make a private server in DayZ: 

1.  Go to the [Apollo Panel](https://control.sparkedhost.us), and turn off your server.

2. Go to the Startup Tab, and set a password in the "Server Password" setting. If you leave it blank, the server will not have a password.

3. Turn on your server, and you will see that it will now require a password before joining.
