# How to upload a local save to your Project Zomboid Server

# How to upload a local save to your Project Zomboid Server

1. Stop your Project Zomboid Server.
2. Locate the save locally. They typically are located here: `/Users/youruser/Zomboid/Saves/Multiplayer`
3. You can then upload the save you want to the server. The folder needs to be uploaded to `/home/container/ServerFiles/Saves/Multiplayer`

4.Once its uploaded if the world name is different than the default make sure to update that and then start the server.
