World Settings


  • GameDifficulty


  • Defines enemy presence, aggression, and reaction speed. Overriding dynamic difficulty when set above Normal.


  • Default: 1 (Normal)


  • Options: 2 = Hard, 3 = Apocalyptic


  • LootRespawnEnabled


  • Enables spontaneous resource respawns around the Facility (excluding furniture). May cause intersections or imbalance.


  • Default: False


  • PowerSocketsOffAtNight


  • Determines whether power sockets shut off at night. Disabling eases gameplay, and may be required with a Night-Only cycle.


  • Default: True


  • DayNightCycleState


  • Controls the day-night transition. Disabling it removes transitions entirely, which may block certain events.


  • Default: 0 (Normal)


  • Options: 1 = Always Day, 2 = Always Night


  • DayNightCycleSpeedMultiplier


  • Adjusts how quickly time passes (without affecting cooldowns or respawns).


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.1; Max: 3


  • WeatherFrequency


  • Determines the frequency of weather events.


  • Default: 3 (Normal); Options: 1 = Never, 2 = Infrequent, 4 = Frequent, 5 = Daily


  • SinkRefillRate


  • Time for sinks to refill for drinking. Zero disables refill entirely.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0; Max: 10.0


  • FoodSpoilSpeedMultiplier


  • Controls how quickly food spoils, with possibility to disable spoilage.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.0; Max: 2.0


  • RefrigerationEffectivenessMultiplier


  • Effectiveness of refrigeration. Also applies to hot-item cooling.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.0; Max: 2.0


  • StorageByTag


  • Restricts container usage by item type (e.g., refrigerators usable only for food when true).


  • Default: True


  • StructuralSupportLimit


  • Limits deployable stacking; set to 0 to remove restrictions.


  • Default: 5


  • BridgeSupports


  • Specifies required supports for bridges. Reduce or disable support requirement.


  • Default: 2; Options: 0 = No Support Required, 1, 2


  • HomeWorlds


  • Enables use of Home Worlds (including DLC). Disabling blocks access to such portals.


  • Default: True


Enemy Settings


  • EnemySpawnRate


  • Frequency at which enemies respawn.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.5; Max: 3


  • EnemyHealthMultiplier


  • Scales enemy health.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.75; Max: 3.0


  • EnemyPlayerDamageMultiplier


  • Scales enemy damage to players.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.25; Max: 3.0


  • EnemyDeployableDamageMultiplier


  • Enemy damage to deployables. Lower values increase base resilience.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.1; Max: 5.0


  • DetectionSpeedMultiplier


  • Speed at which enemies detect players.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.1; Max: 3.0


Player Settings


  • DamageToAlliesMultiplier


  • Damage dealt to other players, as a percentage of normal.


  • Default: 0.5 (50%); Min: 0.0; Max: 3.0


  • HungerSpeedMultiplier


  • Rate at which hunger increases.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.0; Max: 2.0


  • ThirstSpeedMultiplier


  • Rate at which thirst increases.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.0; Max: 2.0


  • FatigueSpeedMultiplier


  • Speed at which fatigue builds.


  • Default: 1.0; Min: 0.0; Max: 2.0


  • ContinenceSpeedMultiplier


  • Rate of continence drain; higher means more frequent restrooms.

  • Removes mini-game when unlocking recipes; recipes unlock immediately.

  • DeathPenalties


  • Determines what items a player keeps or loses on death.


  • Default: 1 (Keep Equipped & Hotbar)


  • Options: 0 = Keep All Items; 2 = Keep Hotbar Only; 3 = Keep Equipped Only; 4 = Lose All; 5 = All Items Destroyed


  • FirstTimeStartingWeapon


  • Weapon given on first spawn in addition to job items.


  • Default: 0 (None)


  • Options: 1 = Shiv; 2 = Desk Leg; 3 = Kitchen Knife; 4 = Starter Baton; 5 = Pipe Club; 6 = Random


  • HostAccessPlayerCorpses


  • Allows host to access items in death bags. Depends on other sandbox options.


  • Default: True


  • AllowCharacterReset


  • Enables reset of job, traits, or skills in-game. Disabling prevents this.


  • Default: True
