How To Enable Cheats On Unturned Server
Enabling cheats on your Unturned server gives you access to powerful commands like spawning items, teleporting, or flying—perfect for testing setups or running creative sessions. Turning cheats on is simple and only takes a minute.
To enable cheats on your Unturned server:
Turn off your Unturned server on the Apollo Panel.
In the file manager on the panel, locate and open the file Servers/unturned/Server/Commands.dat.
Add a new line, enter Cheats Enabled in the file, and save the content. If there aren't any additional lines inside the file, like in the screenshot below, you can just have the Cheats Enabled line as the only new line in the setting file to enable cheats.
This command will allow your Unturned server to accept cheat-level instructions.
Start your server, and you will now have enabled cheats on your Unturned server.
With cheat commands now enabled, you’ll have full access to powerful Unturned console commands and game settings, which make managing your server a breeze.
After you’ve enabled cheats, you can use cheat commands via the Unturned server console or in-game as an admin(If you have set the Owner's ID in the Startup Tab, they are automatically made admins). When executing a cheat command using the in-game chat, it must be prefixed with either a forward slash / or an at sign @.
For example, suppose you want to give 5 Yellow Hoodies (Item ID: 169) to a player named "ROB0520", via Unturned Console Commands. In that case, you can use the give command with the syntax give [SteamID | Player]/[ItemID | ItemName | ItemFilename][/Amount] to provide the player with any item you want available on the server.
And another example, if you want to summon a Forest APC (Vehicle ID: 53) in front of you via in-game commands into the world, you can run the command /vehicle [VehicleID | VehicleGUID | VehicleName | VehicleFilename] to spawn a vehicle into the world, just like the screenshot below.
