How to Install and Configure SkinRestorer

What is SkinRestorer? Well, SkinRestorer is a plugin that allows Offline (Cracked) servers to have user skins back into the game. Usually, offline servers are not able to have skins as it does not communicate with Mojang servers and therefore are not able to get the skin of the player. SkinRestorer changes that.

How to install SkinRestorer

Download the plugin from the spigot page.

Once downloaded, Head over to the File Manager.

Upload the plugin to the “Plugins” folder. You are able to locate the “plugins” folder where your server.jar is located at.

Restart Your Minecraft Server. We do not recommend reloading the server as it may cause issues!

How to configure SkinRestorer

There isn't much configuration to be done as it comes ready and working out of the box however there are some settings that you may want to edit or change.

If you would do not want users to change their skin with the built-in command, set skinWithoutPerm to false

If you would like to apply a default skin, set Enabled to true underneath the DefaultSkins section in the config file.
