How to Install and Configure SkinsRestorer
What is SkinsRestorer? Well, SkinsRestorer is a plugin that allows Offline (Cracked) servers to have user skins back in the game. Usually, offline servers are not able to have skins as it does not communicate with Mojang servers and therefore are not able to get the skin of the player. SkinsRestorer changes that.
Download the plugin from the Modrinth page.
Once downloaded, Head over to the File Manager.
Upload the plugin to the “Plugins” folder. You are able to locate the “plugins” folder where your server.jar is located at.
Restart Your Minecraft Server. We do not recommend reloading the server as it may cause issues!
There isn't much configuration to be done as it comes ready and working out of the box however there are some settings that you may want to edit or change.
If you do not want users to change their skin with the built-in command, set skinWithoutPerm to false
If you would like to apply a default skin, set Enabled to true underneath the DefaultSkins section in the config file.
