How to Limit the Join Queue on an Arma Reforger Server

Limiting the join queue on your Arma Reforger server allows you to control how many players can wait in line when the server is full. This helps maintain stability and prevents excessive connection attempts that could impact performance. While queue settings are typically adjusted through the server configuration file, this guide explains how to limit the join queue.

Limiting the Join Queue Using the Apollo Panel

  1. Open the Apollo Panel, and ensure that your server is offline.

  1. Navigate to the Files Tab and open the file called "config.json".

  1. From the "operating" line, set "maxSize" property under "joinQueue" to the number of slots you want on the player queue. If the lines don't exist, you can enter them manually based on the image below.

  1. Save your changes with the "Save Content" button in the top-right area.

  1. Restart the server, and the new join queue limit should now be in effect.
