How to Add an Admin to Your Don't Starve Together Server

Granting admin permissions to players allows them to kick and ban players, or use other admin commands.

If you used your Token to activate the server, you will be automatically set as an admin.

How to Find Your Klei User ID

A Klei User ID is unique to each player and is necessary for adding players to the admin list.

Launch Don't Starve Together.
Click on the Account icon; this will open the Steam Overlay.
In the Steam Overlay, locate your Klei User ID under User Info.

How to Grant Admin Permissions to Players

Access your control panel and stop your server.



Navigate to Files.
Go to /config/<cluster-name>/ and create a file named adminlist.txt.



Edit the file and add the players' Klei User IDs, one per line.
Save the changes and restart your server.
