In Palworld, dungeon respawn time controls how quickly you can re-enter cleared areas to fight dungeon bosses, farm resources, or collect items you missed. Some players prefer faster respawn timers to speed progression, while others like longer gaps to increase scarcity, make enemies tougher to manage, and slow overall gameplay.

Normal dungeons and dungeon entrances may allow you to re-enter after about a real time hour or one in-game day, while certain boss rooms: such as tower bosses, alpha bosses, or rare alpha pals—can take longer to spawn back. These boss pals are usually found in the same location, so once you’ve cleared them, you’ll need to wait before they reappear.

Adjusting Dungeon Respawn Time

To adjust the dungeon respawn time in Palworld:

1. Open your Apollo Panel and turn off your Palworld server.

2. Head to the Properties Tab and look for the "DayTimeSpeedRate" and "NightTimeSpeedRate" properties.

3. Modify these values. By default, both are set to 1. Lowering them slows in-game time, which prolongs dungeon availability and delays boss respawn. Raising them accelerates time, shortening the timer until bosses respawn or resources respawn.

• Defeating and capturing a boss: Once you’re done defeating or capturing a boss, it won’t instantly respawn in the same location. You’ll have to wait until the respawn timer finishes.

• Playing with friends: If multiple people are playing on the server, only one group may get the clear rewards at the time of reset.

• Resources respawn: Gathering nodes like ores, wood, and other resources also follow the respawn timers, so farming routes are tied to these settings.

By balancing dungeon resets, you keep the fight against bosses engaging while making farming routes sustainable. Adjusting carefully ensures progression feels fair, whether you want a faster grind or a tougher survival game.
