How to create a MySQL User on cPanel
You finally have a database. Time to add a user to access the very important database! How else are we going to store data on how amazing sparked host is?
Anyways, Let’s learn how to create a MySQL user on cPanel.
Login to the cPanel dashboard. You are able to log in using the button on the web hosting package.
Once logged in, Head down over to the “Databases” category and select “MySQL Databases”.
Here you are able to create new databases, and users and modify existing databases and users.
Under the “MySQL” section, fill out the form. This is where you will name your user. Your overall username name will be <cpanel username>_< name>. For example, sparked3_website. You will also need to make a secure password!
Click “Create User”. The MySQL user should now be created!
