How to join a Bedrock server on xbox and switch


I. Joining a Bedrock server from Xbox.



a) Set up DNS:

First, we'll change the DNS settings. Go to Profile and system > Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > DNS settings.
Choose Manual and enter the following DNS.

Primary DNS:
- 104.238.130.180

Secondary DNS: If one doesn't work, choose the other.
- 8.8.8.8
- 1.1.1.1

b) Add Server.

After launching Minecraft, go to the menu and select "Connect to Server." A new menu will appear, select "Connect to Server." If the menu doesn't appear, change the secondary DNS.
Enter the server's IP and the corresponding port.

II. Joining a Bedrock server from Nintendo Switch.



a) Set up DNS:

First, we'll change the DNS settings. Go to Profile and system > Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > DNS settings.
Choose Manual and enter the following DNS.



Primary DNS:
- 104.238.130.180

Secondary DNS: If one doesn't work, choose the other.
- 8.8.8.8
- 1.1.1.1

b) Add Server.

After launching Minecraft, go to the menu and select "Servers," enter any default server. A new menu will open. If the menu doesn't appear, change the secondary DNS.
Select "Connect to Server" and enter the IP and port.
