OWI Squad Server Licensing Requirements

Obtaining a license for squad server will allow you to get more view and traction for your server. The better your server is advertised the more people will want to join. Without a license your server will appear on the Custom Browser and not the Main browser. To change this you will need to apply for a license.

How to get licensed

To apply and obtain a license, follow these steps:

Join the Official OWI Hosting Discord server for updates and for questions regarding your licensing down the line.

Contact us for your Specs of your node. Then use the information given to you in section 3.

Fill out the OWI license application For the Server Hardware Hosting Company type "Sparked Host". For "Server Disk Drives" enter "1TB HDD NO RAID" for Network Speed enter 1GB. Then fill in the rest of the remaining info.

After Filling the application expect an email from OWI with an approve or deny request. OWI holds the right to approve or deny license applications for any reason. If they do deny you they should list the reasons as to why.

Add the license exactly as presented to the license.cfg
