How to Set Your Don't Starve Together Server to Private

Creating a private server is a great way to prevent unwanted players from joining, allowing you and your friends to enjoy the game without interruptions. An easy and simple way to do this is by adding a password to your server.

Adding a Password

Access your control panel and stop your server.
Go to the Files tab.



Navigate to DoNotStarveTogether/config/server/cluster.ini.
In the "cluster password" line, enter a password. This password will be required by players when they try to join your server.
