How to setup an email account on cPanel

Emails are handy for managing departments or teams. Or maybe you need a separate inbox for sending “very important” emails.

How to setup an email account on cPanel



Login to the cPanel dashboard. You are able to log in using the button on the web hosting package.



Once logged in, Head down over to the “Email” category and select “Email Accounts”.



Click the orange “Create” button. This will open a form for you to fill out regarding the email account. You will need to fill in the following:

Username - This is the first part of the domain. thisPart@sparked-media.com
Password - The password to login for the email account.
Storage (OPTIONAL) - Set the max amount of storage in which the email account can use up
Create folders for plus addressing - Automatically creates a folder when the email address receives a message that uses plus addressing



Finally, Click the “Create” Button.



To log in to the email, Simply click the “Check Email” button.



You are able to choose what email web client you would like to choose. The default client is “Roundcube”. Once selected, click “Open”.



You can now send emails to others!
