Reverting back to a backup world on your Valheim Server
Something happen to your current world? Do you want to revert back to an older version. Follow this guide to learn how.
Head to the File Manager and navigate to /.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds_local.
Once you get there you will see .fwl and .db files. Your current active world by default is Dedicated.db and Dedicated.fwl.
Valheim automatically takes backups every so often. The most recent would be Dedicated.db.old and dedicated.fwl.old or if you are looking for older ones they will be named something like Dedicated_backup_auto_202....db and Dedicated_backup_auto_202....fwl.
Once you decide which one you want to revert to, you can delete Dedicated.db and Dedicated.fwl and then rename the backups to Dedicated.db and Dedicated.fwl and start the server and revert to these backups.
Valheim Player Data is stored locally so you may not be able to revert back depending on why you are reverting.
