How to Clear FiveM Server Cache

Clearing your cache is a simple yet crucial task that helps maintain your server’s performance. Over time, cached files can accumulate, leading to slower load times, glitches, or even conflicts with new updates or mods. In this article, we’ll guide you through the step-by-step process of clearing your server's FiveM cache.

When adding or deleting maps, clear your cache to prevent conflicts.

To clear a FiveM Server's Cache:

Login to Apollo Panel

Stop your server.

Navigate to the File Manager to open server files.

Locate the cache folder in the /cache/ directory.

Open the folder, delete all the files inside of it, except for the game folder.

Restart your FiveM server.

Congratulations, you have successfully cleared the server cache on your FiveM server.


How to Clear a FiveM Player's Cache



Sometimes, your players might be experiencing performance issues on their clients. One of the options to fix this is to have them clear their personal computer's cache for their FiveM installation.

Generally, it's a good idea to have your players delete their cache files when joining your server for the first time.

To clear your FiveM cache:

Locate your FiveM Application Data folder. You can find this by right clicking the FiveM shortcut on your desktop, and selecting the "Open File" option.

Inside of the FiveM directory, navigate to your cache files. Look for the cache folder.

Inside of the cache folder, clear cache. Delete all the files inside of it except for the game folder.

Restart FiveM.
