How to Change Your Minecraft Server Type on Sparked Host Control Panel



In this article, you'll learn how to switch your server type on the Sparked Host control panel. Whether you want to move from Minecraft Java to Minecraft Bedrock, or the other way around, we've covered you with easy-to-follow steps.

Step 1: Backup Your Server



Start by backing up your server in case something unexpected happens during the changeover. You can see how to make a backup in this article: How to Backup your Server

Step 2: Access Server Settings & Change Your Server Type



Next, go to the settings tab in your Sparked Host control panel. This is where you'll find the options to change your server type.
Click on the "Change Server Type" option. You'll see a dropdown menu with different server types. Select the one you want to switch to, whether it's Minecraft Java or Minecraft Bedrock.

Step 3: Saving The Changes



Once you've picked the new server type, click on the "Save Changes" button. Choose to delete all files, this wipes out everything from your current server type and finally, click the "Change Type" button.
