How to Request an Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Sparked Host account and associated personal data at any time.

How to Request

Email: compliance@sparkedhost.com

Subject: DATA PROTECTION REQUEST

In Your Email

  • Your full name
  • Account email (plus any aliases)
  • Recent order/invoice number (if known)
  • A simple statement: “I am requesting deletion of my account and personal data.”
  • Your country/state of residence (so we apply the correct legal timeline)
  • If acting for a business/team: your role and proof of authorization

Identity Verification

To protect account owners, we verify identity before taking action. We may:

  • Confirm via the registered account email, and/or
  • Ask for additional details (e.g., recent invoice number or government ID).

We will never ask for your password or payment information.

What We Delete

Once verified, we delete:

  • Account profile data (name, email, phone, contact details)
  • Services tied to your account
  • Support tickets/attachments (unless needed for legal defense)
  • Marketing preferences and CRM entries
  • Optional data you provided (surveys, forms, etc.)

180-Day Window for Recent Transactions

If your account has had any financial activity in the last 180 days (e.g., new orders, renewals, refunds, disputes/chargebacks), we must retain minimal billing, tax, and anti-fraud records until the 180-day window closes. This is required for:

  • Payment disputes/chargebacks and fraud prevention
  • Tax, accounting, and audit obligations
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims

What this means for you

  • We will minimize and restrict any data we must keep (e.g., invoice metadata, transaction logs), store it securely, and delete it automatically once the 180-day window ends (unless another legal retention duty applies).
  • You’ll receive a partial deletion confirmation now and a final confirmation after the 180-day window closes.

Timeline

We aim to complete verified requests within the timelines required by law:

  • Up to 30 days in GDPR jurisdictions
  • Up to 45 days under applicable U.S. state privacy laws
  • If the request is complex or involves third-party processors, we may extend it (we’ll notify you)

If the 180-day transaction window applies, we’ll delete immediate non-essential data, then finalize remaining deletions as soon as the window closes.
