How to Update FiveM Server Build
Keeping your FiveM server data up-to-date is essential for keeping your server secure. Regular updates ensure compatibility with new features and bug fixes. In this step by step guide, we’ll walk you through the process of updating your FiveM server artifacts to the latest artifact version, and how to revert back to older server artifacts versions.
Note: By using Sparked Host's FiveM server hosting, your server will automatically update to the recommended latest version by default. Only use this guide if you want to revert your FiveM server artifacts version back to an older version.
To update your FiveM server build:
Login to Apollo Game Panel
Make sure your server data is backed up to prevent data loss.
Navigate to the Startup tab on the left hand side.
Go to https://runtime.fivem.net/artifacts/fivem/build_proot_linux/master for a list of FiveM server artifacts.
Find the FiveM server artifacts that you want to run. If you are trying to maintain compatibility for existing files and mods on your FiveM server, change your FiveM version to the build that is recommended by the mod developer.
Change the FiveM server version to the version you want to change your FiveM server to in the "FiveM Version" box.

Restart your FiveM server.
To update your FiveM artifact on Linux Servers:
Backup your server files prior to updating.
Access and delete the "citizen" folder.
Go to https://runtime.fivem.net/artifacts/fivem/build_proot_linux/master/
Find the artifacts version you want to update to. If you want to update to the latest version, it will be at the top.
Download the FiveM artifacts file as a .zip file.
Extract the .zip file to your FiveM server and replace any files.
