How to fast travel in Windrose is a key travel mechanic in Windrose that allows players to move quickly between different locations using fast travel points like a fast travel bell or unlocked faction hubs on the map. It is usually tied to exploration and progression, where players discover their first fast travel point after early-game milestones such as gathering copper ore or crafting basic tools. Once unlocked, fast travel helps players safely move across islands, coastlines, and dangerous areas, reducing the need to sail manually by boat or ship and making world exploration much faster and more efficient.




  1. Unlock Copper Ingots.


  1. The Fast Travel Bell schematic will then become available.


  1. Collect 20 Copper Ingots and 6 Rope.


  1. Create Copper Ingots in the Smelting Furnace using 4 Copper Ore and 1 Charcoal.


  1. Craft Rope at the Workbench with 3 Plant Fibers.


  1. Head to the Workbench.


  1. Craft 2 Fast Travel Bells.


  1. Select Take All.


  1. Gather 40 Wood.


  1. Press B to open Building Mode.


  1. Right-click to access the Building Panel.


  1. Choose the Fast Travel Point under the Utilities category.


  1. Place the first Fast Travel Point wherever you want.


  1. Place the second Fast Travel Point wherever you want.


  1. Fast Travel will become active between both locations.


  1. When traveling on foot, players need to interact directly with the Fast Travel Point.


  1. When sailing, all Fast Travel Points can be accessed from the world map.
